Stay informed
via this website
or our telegram channel @radsfatz.
Here you get information about workshops,
changes of the opening hours, and the like.
On Sheldon Brown's pages you find usefull instructions for bicycle stuff.
This website was created using Human Intelligence (HI).
In our non-commercial self-help bicycle workshop you can fix your bike alone or with our support or find your new bike (that will be an old one, anyway) and fix that. We have tools, spare parts, bikes, and know-how.
Please remember that fixing a bike usually takes much more time than you assume. Please take this into account and don’t show up just during the last hour before closing.
Getting involved
You want to take part? Perfect! You don’t need to know how to fix bikes – you’ll learn all you need with us. The Radsfatz is a feminist collective. We encourage women, lesbians, intersexual, non-binary, transsexual, and agender people (Wlinta*) to join us. Fight patriarchy in tech-spaces! Get in contact: mellon at radsfatz.bike - or just show up during the opening hours.
Inclusion
Our workshop is mostly wheelchair accessible. The toilet still is a bit complicated to reach.
The inside of the workshop rooms is non-smoking area. Sometimes people smoke in front of the doors, if asked they keep more distance. During the opening hours alcohol and other drugs are not tolerated.
Special bikes and HPV
At Radsfatz you can learn how to ride cargo bikes and recumbent bikes. We have a huge car-free yard where you can get used to the new feeling of riding a special bike. If you are interested, better mail us in advance: mellon at radsfatz.bike.
By the way, you can borrow cargo bikes and trailers via Kolara.
Donations
Donations are the workshop’s economic basis. You can leave money in a jar or send us as much money as you like via bank transfer.
